HCG Diet Menu – The Dreaded Phase 2

The HCG diet protocol is a 500 calorie per day diet. It requires that you eat 100g of veal, beef, chicken, or fish twice a day plus a handful of one type of vegetable only (spinach, chard, chicory, beet-greens, green salad, tomatoes, celery, fennel, onions, red radishes, cucumbers, asparagus, cabbage). You are also allowed to have either an apple, orange, or handful of strawberries twice a day as well. The HCG diet protocol also states that you should have one breadstick or Melba toast with your lunch and dinner but I’ve decided to cut this out from the diet as I’ve found I get better results by doing so.
